which grains were my design
hey Paul, nice, I really like this poem, and can
just imagin those footprints, leading from the
shore, back to the sandcastle. Maybe for more
water, or just to cool off those feet.
I liked the lingering of persona, envisioned by the words, “remaining heat”. Some day, I hope to accomplish one, brillant haiku. LOL Thx for yours. Arlene.

Sand between my toes.
Water chilly on bare skin.
Northern water’s cold!
