lightning flashes zapped
through two windows
I was in the middle – shaking!
Nice image Fran, but what was your viewpoint as writer? Hard to imagine how you could have seen your own body outlined by lightning. Unless perhaps you and whoever makes up the ‘our’ were watching yourselves in the mirror at the time? :)

stormy night:
cancelling my flight
i failed to let her know
love this!
my view point: standing, glancing at the wall
Any night-
in our bedroom
moving shadows.
prosperity dance
the arowana
gracious silvery scales
dribbles of sweat
outlining our bodies —
sweltering summer night
