I was born in San Fransisco in 1948. I have been a professional astrologer since 1966. I am also a massage therapist, and teach at a massage school in Kansas City, Missouri. I have had two books of haiku published, "Step Into Sky", published in a bilingual edition (Japanese/English) by Happa-no-kofu press in Tokyo, and "Wrinkled Sea", published by Hikoo Press in Kansas City, Missouri. editing a poem…
snowflakes melt
on the salted blacktop
perfectionist ceramic artist
smashes clay piece
she doesn’t like it – “not yet”
my garden
first snow
with rabbit tracks
Rather Pointless Don’t You Think?
tiny mind proclaims
in “witty” headline format:
i refuse to understand
multifarious ideas
to one experience
putting them down to haiku
welder
easily becomes
haikuist
unclear statement
green grass seen through thinning snow …
befuddles the mind
–
creating a wall
tall pines in winter …
it still rains on both sides
I liked your haiku very much.
Unusual. How did you think that up?
Or did you try it?
I can picture the moment.

Only a breath of wind
and the haiku’s lines
stretch wing to weather
echoing from the dark
thunder in the distant —
thoughts i can’t turn loose
