mockingbird mimics
blue jays …ah, solitude
in bird bath
sunbeam
ignites cardinal–
vivid flame
Morning’s arrival
snuffing out the stars and moon
Night shift is over.
in and out
of morning mist
wild parrots

dusk –
slice in the clouds
bleeds sunrays
–
sun beams
the roof that refuses to hide
our lean years
Fog signls –
unseen the finches
shout from everywhere
blackbird’s silhouette
perched over the satellite dish
dawn’s beginning
