Cindy, thanks, a nice light start to the day with your haiku on tinywords.

ah, little squirrel
drinking from humming birds cup
i join you for tea
An empty tumbler-
Both the glassblower and a fly
quenched their thirst
my mouth waters for
the zesty taste of garlic–
my eyes for the moon
lunch time walk
…photographing
gulls’ freedom
Very nice, Cindy. One of life’s little jests,
insightfully seen by you.

cool spring morning jog –
break
from the rat race
–
break time
the waitor
hums a tune
floating downstream
with the ducks
a bottle of spring water
Detroit
these days the auto workers
are flipping burgers
anhing, wings spread —
sun-break
from it’s morning dive
