raindrops scribble
on the window panes

raindrops…
draining the landscape
through my window
feel the dampness
misty San Francisco fog
– confuses the tourists
Waiting at the window,
suddenly the face of a man
running through the rain
wind’s silent whispers
balmy spring morning
capturing my attention
–
after the rain
the raindrops from the roof
hit a can
barren wintry road
weed in purple bloom
takes a turn
