aspen gold
shimmers gently
in the breeze
rehearsal
each note greeted
by an echo
A love child’s visage
stuck against the window’s glass:
the moon’s clean cheek
between the raindrops
my sweat’s saltiness
remains
the full moon shines on
telephone wires stretched between
two coconut trees.
Soulmates
underlined words
present tense
umbrella tree leaves
nary a difference between two —
rain drops
