a hint of Grandfather
wintry sun
beneath the window sill
ash-filled urn
Tears of rust
on the hibachi
after your departure.
tsunami
she finds time only
to save her cockerel
*seen on cnn
picture the present
wrapped in white ~ fresh spring bouquets
hidden underneath
polaris rays
owl’s hoot
