solitary moon
sentinel of winter’s night
ethereal light
Sun dips
in an inkwell night
painting miles of new moon snow.
on a clear midnight
the silver moon overhead
pale white birches glow
winter midnight
lighter than most …
trek cross the alaskan tundra
–
non music dance
a swamp of insect
below the street lamp
the winter.
the snow jets from the rooflines,
the wind roar’s in the trees
night is white with eerie light
and the silence deafening
over the snow blanket
winter night–
fresh avocado next to tree
ripen mango
