rain overflows
the gutter

twilight-
my son waves
to his reflection
fading dark —
walls give way
to the sun’s coolness
–
barren earth
thirsting
for the spring
fading light
lit picture
on the wall
lost
forever
in myself
Laved by the rain,
yellow bodies rising
from one’s ashes
torrential rains –
pass the storm drain
the dandelion wavers
