I've been writing and studying haiku since 1992. I've self-produced a few of my own collections of haiku, most recently 'ku' in 2000, and 'nine haiku: winterness' this past winter. I am currently working on a collection of one-line haiku to be completed by this summer.

Dear Ellis,
It’s a lovely haiku. One does see names engaved on tree barks in most gardens and on walls of old/historic monuments in India. You are so matter-of-fact and yet so concerned, ironical and lovely. Congrats.
