darkening sky …
the snake curves
into my path

very thought provoking piece kala.. the obstacles on any path are only as large as we perceive them to be. thank you .
clearing
a path to the mailbox…
winter moonlight
river walk
the depth of the water
between the stepping stones
darkening sky
cry of a mom
for child
On the way home
suddenly a black cat
crosses my path
Enlightening darkness
darkening skies
before twilight, falls
a gentle rain
morning breeze
the curve of an egret’s shadow
this is the real thing kala! its rare to see a haiku that can’t be improved on. excellent!
high mountain meadow—
a snake curls around
the sound of its hiss
I am looking out of the window and seeing a darkening sky, I know exactly what you mean. Beautiful poetry.
