looking at the face
of the abandoned dog.
roadside hindu shrine
plump dog sleeps
below deity’s legs
He, K. Ramesh
In the garden
is added another flower
my sadness
piegon’s kiss
the branch of a fir
is becoming more green
This haiku breaks my heart in such a simple, beautiful way. Excellent work!
An empty bowl;
The cat is somewhere
In the neighborhood
The dog’s eyes
brighten up suddenly:
the owner’s children
abandoned dog
noisy city
seeking little boy
Kala—–I weep for every stray animal
Stray cats,
there are none in Mexico.
They are eaten.
jawbones
off the side of the road —
an empty collar
pile of bones –
mahjong
