of an airplane’s noise covers
the buzz of frisbee
This belated echo
of an airplane’s noise covers
the buzz of frisbee
the robber moon
in the apple-tree orchard
the dogs are barking
these insects
upwardly spiralling and dancing–
with the rain
helicopter
making its silent way
through leafless branches
after the indian dance
three bell bracelets
on the stage
cool dawn
so crisp
the purple grackle sings
