The use of ‘albino’ is interesting in this haiku. It implies more than ‘white’ (but trails white’s associations of innocence and ghostliness). An albino animal can be seen as a sport. Something odd perhaps damaged – vulnerable (except where there is snow) as it is too visible. So too victims of war – DU radiation, incarceration etc. are vulnerable in hospital/detention. Thanks for this haiku.
