  1. I like it. Winter slows me down too, but you got me to write.

    bitter woodsmoke
    ice crystals in the night
    The Sisters dance

  2. Charles, a rich haiku_!
    Judi… an equally rich response_!
_I see The Sister Snow’s dance, whirling to the music… of rising smoke.
_That he -made you write- is a further complement to Charles.

  3. ellen, happy new year-
your iceberg provides food for thought; an afterthought, were you enjoying ice coffee(miami thinking)

charles, interesting observation. when i’m fortunate to experience such extremes, i’m slow to rise.
winters in lucerne show my affection for comforters; the heat is turned off while sleeping.

    frigid winds–
    even the windchimes
    sing a different tune

  4. Happy New Year to you too, Bob. I like your windchimes haiku very much. I am definitely “North” and my Swedish Nanna introduced me to hot strong coffee at an early age. However, being definitely older now as well, it’s a special treat! All the best…
