I personally really like this haiku, but wasn’t this published before? Or was it turned down?
I quick Google search finds it on the Summer Haiku 2007 blog, where you’ve already commented on it:

It’s very succinct, and although minimalist, it doesn’t come across as that because it has a ‘normal’ language feel to it, and will be an excellent haiku for readings too! ;-)”
