  1. This haiku remind me of some Issa’s haiku about sparrows.Although it refers about a bird, is a very human haiku. For this reason I written the follow reply:

    In the old cage
it is not more place for
    the sparrow’s wings

  2. Hi Alan, I love the waver of the moment here!
And while I’m not quite sure what a peanut
cage is, I’m guessing it’s a type of bird feeder?
It’s so interesting to get these global glimpses…
I feed our birds sunflower seeds, but have never
    put out peanuts.
    ;)

  3. Thank you Bill, Vasile, larylee, and martin for the comments, and for the complementary haiku!

Yes, a peanut cage is indeed a bird feeder, and simply means it was a dedicated peanut feeder, as was the sparrow! ;-)

  4. alan, first thought, my usage of (irregardless); some think it totally inappropriate. yet, it has a place and usage for effectively making a point.
(re-rights) enhances the visual of the sparrow’s ongoing actions.
there are times i’ll pronounce the “t” at the end of escargo(t); some think me boorish…

    this dawn’s
    irregularity–
    having cereal

  5. Thanks b.m.!

I find your haiku quite interesting, I would never have though “irregularity” would go with haiku, but you have done it! Very haiku humour, I hope you submit it to Tinywords! ;-)
