Wicked, Roberta.

in the soft light she looks

quite a sight, breast

to some this may sound chauvinistic, however in the way the world was made to spin, it’s the ideal(to me, real) situation. later, i must share my dissertation(thesis) on “what’s not to like about the female’s milk secreting organs”. initially, i’d written about the female in general…
if this was the only consolation you received, it must have been a very painful
day. despite the juvenile & jocular comments
above, your poem evokes a powerful & familiar sense of sadness.
winter wind…
my ex shows up to borrow
the space heater

She is so unlike me, yet
so much the same.
He is bound to me still.
Roberta – your haiku is exquisite.
sounds like a rump roast & you
