… to say: “we should have gotten off at the last stop.”

I like this avant gardist haiku, dealing with human nature as it does.
To suppose or assume what may (or may not) have been said would take this out of the realm of haiku per se, I think; however, observing the act of speaking does not.
I greatly enjoyed the Underground haiku as well. It made me stop and think twice as I read it, which is always a sign of very inspiring, lovely work! Very nice job, Robert! :)
reminded of a flight into miami, with michelle, from leeds, seated next to me. deplaning, giving her my business card, and what i thought would be our last conversation, “call me if you get bored”. needless to say, for the next 30 days, we were an item…

This was a very cool. I like when haiku tells a story. When it describes a moment in time like a photo captures a scene.. well that’s indescribable, but when it tells a little story- and you feel it- well that’s the best.

Very well done, IMNSHO.
I enjoyed the Underground haiku, an area ripe for haiku and senryu!
What about some Shakespeare Globe haiku next! ;-)
all my best,
Alan
