cowbells . . . the pasture view never the same
—vincent tripi
Issue 13.3 | 24 January 2014
Beautiful haiku.
warm regards,
Alan
One of the first haiku books I bought was "white," by vincent tripi, in the 1990s. I remember I read a review in Modern Haiku.
As Alan Summers said, "cowbells" is a beautiful haiku. We surely need beauty.
I love this haiku. Reminds me of my favorite trails…and how I notice something new every time.
I love the idea that a sound changes how we view (sight) something. In typical tripi fashion this one creeps up on you.
How did I miss this, wonderful!
