  1. Heartbreaking.

I've been reading a lot of haiku and tanka dealing with the tough issues in our lives.

    Very strong.

My heart and best wishes go out to you all,

    love,

    Alan

    1. Thank you for your well wishes, Alan. It is indeed a tough time for my youngest sister at the minute and this monostich was published yesterday just as she was returning from her second chemo session.

      Much appreciated.

It's good to see you using the one-line form so effectively!

  4. Brilliant one line haiku Marion. Love and blessings to your sister and you, I know what that journey is like from your side.

    1. Bernadette, I have only come across your comment now as I am updating my blog 'about me' page and thought I'd put up a few monoku published here on tinywords. Sorry to hear you have had a similar experience. As you know, Niamh passed away last September and there's not a day I don't think of her. Coincidentally, her husband has just been her to collect my daughter as she is spending the night with her younger cousins. This haiku feels like it was written a million light years away now…
