Immediately reminded of The Specials and their Ghost Town song about politicians playing fast and loose with ordinary people's lives. It's disheartening to watch towns crumble and I can only hope more and more are rebuilt around the world.
Very visual, Gary, and atmospheric. Like Alan, this reminded me of the lyrics of the Specials' track 'Ghost Town' from back in the eighties:
This town (town) is coming like a ghost town
Why must the youth fight against themselves?
Government leaving the youth on the shelf
This place (town) is coming like a ghost town
No job to be found in this country
Can't go on no more
The people getting angry
It also made me think of the excellent photography of Chase Gagnon. :)
