juncos black silhouettes in birch trees notes on a tangled clef

Issue 10.3 | 27 December 2010
Unique take, and a lovely sight to behold. Marvelous!
Perhaps … notes on a tangled staff. Notwithstanding, a great image.
This has been an inspiration to me to think of the presence of birds in haiku.
Hi Jean,

Thank you, Alan!
Such a sharp image! Just have been working on a poem in response to seeing a dozen robins sitting in a tree filled with berries on Christmas day. A stark winter view come to life. And your's came through in three lines!
oh thank you for resurrecting the sight of hundreds of hummingbirds in one big old apple blossom tree
Excellent!
