Carly Siegel Thorp found her love of haiku in 2020, although she has loved nature and spending time outdoors for as long as she can remember. Her haiku has appeared in The Heron's Nest, Frogpond, Modern Haiku, Kingfisher, and other notable haiku journals. She lives in Sterling, Massachusetts, with her husband and two cats, and is a statistics professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
