still on the shelf
a skipping stone
from my childhood

no gender
to the tulips
their soft touch
three-day blizzard
my thoughts
pile up
way too much
to tell you
waning moon
a visit home
all the bird songs
sound the same
sitting down to rush home subway
dinner with my ex –
wine turns
to water
Caribbean cruise
getting away
with all these people
pastry chef full of himself
loneliness
opening the window
to let in the rain
