Nice. Similar in tone to George Swede's 'alone at last' but with a twist in the other direction.

The irony in this one made me smile. :)
Sure the irony that other posters have mentioned.
Could also read it as–the poet is getting away on a Caribbean cruise, and there are all these people also getting away, each one from the circumstance of his/her life.
This is way better than a brick & mortar essmnlithaebt.
