Gabriele Brunsch was born in Klagenfurt, Austria in 1949. She has been writing poetry since childhood. A teacher and the mother of four children, she has always continued creating art - writing, drawing, and painting. She both writes and directs dramas for the theatre - with actors and for her paper theatre, which she started in 2002.
