Author: Patricia Reid

Patricia Reid writes: "I live in Brisbane, Australia on a street of aged camphor laurels. The first song in the morning and the last in the evening is that of the butcherbirds'. Their beautiful songs and improvisations overwhelm for me accounts of their 'butchery', but both exist. I have only recently begun to write haiku."
