The wonder of haiku. Here is a scene I must have witnessed dozens of times, yet never took the moment. And now through reading these lines, I can experience it more fully than when the scene actually played out before my eyes.
What’s more, I will witness this scene again in the future, and my experience will be enriched by this haiku.
Thank you Sue.
I like your haiku, Sue. Zhanna

A wonderful haiku full of the moment. Thank you, Sue.
so very cold, winter winds
fallen leaves –
blanket the ground
after stored away
for the winter months
earth bursts forth with new strength
brisk spring breeze
trees waving —
half completed jog
