Very good. Hard hitting haiku that echoes a situation which will remain etched into the minds of many who suffered loss of home and even lives in some cases. The image you have made is a chilling and poignant one.

though he’s not listening
the song she sings
charcoal
stove flame
lean years
No chimney-sweeper-
through the dark smoke,
the white swans
bumblebee –
into the cul-de-sac
pollen covered exit
–
