I was born in Chehalis, Wash. Have lived in British Columbia, Canada, since I was 16. After finishing a B.A. in English Literature at the University of B.C., I have written two books of Western free verse and published both articles and short stories in various literary journals. Recently-- I've concentrated my efforts on short verse. I've been published in several haiku journals including Temps Libre, Haiku Spirit, Moments, Short Stuff, Dew-on-Line, and the World Haiku Review, where I recieved an honourable mention for the 2002 R.H. I loved seeing the snow everywhere but “on the ground”. Thanks.
summer fog
San Francisco tourists
shivering in shorts
winter mist
in the air ..
silence
dear meryl,
your haiku is very simple yet inspiring.
winter fog
clasping her hand tight
in our walk
above the fog
a snow cloud
nudging
befuddle thoughts
answers as the day gets underway,
morning dew
