part of the moon covered
in a haze

Now retired from the Government service where I worked from 1968 to 2003. Born February 1950. I am married to Anthony Cox since 1971; we have two children - a daughter Yanda; and a son Khama. moon in sea mist
breaks thru-
young lovers
coyotes howling
moonlit meadow
-cows on alert
Pale grey mornings
Winter’s hand against the sun
Something’s got to give.
through my
sleepy eyes
her morning freshness
predawn opaque clouds
embracing a full moon …
doves cooing
