long winter night
half of full moon
still in my window
talk at kitchen
a cricket shrills on
without a care
interesting syntax –
“in twin”
— —-
twin: (n) one of two, resembling another;
(a) being two; (bio) occurring in pairs, didymous; (v) to pair, to unite or combine
———–
maybe two
in harmony …
one
Suddenly…silence –
only from the distance
the echo
fireflies sparkling
above grass–
trees wafting silently
Soulmates apart
still the seasons
in my heart
mockingbird’s ruffle feathers –
out on a limb
alone
–
