aged hippy
the face from his T-shirt
smiles to me
nearly toothless grin
blonde boy gnaws cell phone
expensive teething ring
morning zazen –
dog curls up in front
and licks himself
morning meditation
guts and sighs
against the buddha
a few brief sun-rays
my morning prayer —
amidst the steady rain
–
sunless
a walk …
at midnight
–
sunrise —
blue skies
where clouds were yesterday
A path through the dew-
man and dog measuring step by step
the Zen Garden
dancing to
fast rock & roll
fun weight loss program
tête-à-tête
still clouds
behind your shoulder
tai chi…
bending as he bends
the sunflower
butterflies parrots
blast spring delights~
still on the pond,a swan~
luminous angels dance
newborn fairy tales~
flowers spread the sky ~
all Beings in
all Cosmoses dissolve~
Mahaa Shoonya~
cripple blue jay
morning, first visitor —
my sorrows end
tai chi lesson
master ting bows
to the sparkling creek
morning groans–
through the chilly darkness
watching my every step
