lost in kiss
in the breeze
our hair entwines
still pond holds the sky
bare foot steps wetly sinking
clouds and polliwogs
side by side-
dandelion and violet
greet the sun
a petal of cherry blossom
falling down
in balmy sunshine
hands warmed
by the breath of southernly winds –
journey’s end

better pieces on the site.
record heat
the widow offers the widower
a cold beer
with thoughts of spring–
snow remains unmelted
by the moon
