morning downpour . . .
only the sound
of the temple bell stays dry

Very cool…I can almost hear the blending of rain and bell….
frightened clouds above the waves
cower beyond the sharp rocks
petrel’s flight
Albania
The golden bamboo glistens
Wet and bent;
A lone frog laments.
morning downpour
suddently, neighbourhood sounds
like a bazaar
Morning prayer-
the blind’s sticks called by bells
till the Great Temple
Morning prayer-
on the great bells
dew-droplets
nice…lost in the rain
Thanks for sharing this beautiful moment.
troy
low clouds rise
sun glistens on church bells
call to prayer
stanford – san,
thought you might enjoy this
damp insight…
morning rain…
into its rhythm
my mind evaporates
great poem stanford,
yee
rolling fog
only the cry of a gull
stays au naturel
Wonderful poem !!! Thank you Stanford.
soft footprints of rain
on the roof,
a summer rhapsody.
long dryspell–
first drop of rain
cross my forehead
Warm rain falling;
With each drop’s touch,
I feel your caress.
snow melting –
crimson tulips
heaving sod.
summer rain –
from sultry streets
vapors dance
flooding the darkness
mourning downpour–
from unseen dove
