Ed: You should have had the pitcher sweating a tear!! I hope you’re well. Great haiku. I love to see your stuff on the web. Lets me know you’re still alive and kickin’!! Be well. Reply
a haiku drawn on the kool-aid pitcher... summer's spring Is there not something wonderful about littering the universe with haikus made out of–and with–natural objects? Like in sand and snow and drawn in water, molded out of clouds and disturbing the stars.. Possibly not. a smile drawn in leaves with a stick (or in mud Ed?:) Reply
Hi Ed… I guess that’s the kool-aid acid test.

Hey, Kool-‘Ku!!
our summer does end
so we jump in the colors
left by shedding trees
I know the feeling. Good one!
bittersweet-
beneath a brooding sky
last fling of summer
So much in so few words. Well done, Ed.
