  1. Sights, sounds, the chill of fall, the uneven ground underfoot from the acorns… The haiku does a wonderful job of reaching most of the senses, as well as letting the reader ‘fill in between the lines’.

    Lovely haiku, it reminds me of a poem
    that Hilary Tann published in The
    Heron’s Nest 2007. And to be frank,
    her haiku made my top 10 list.
