I remember this one really well, and all its incarnations.
This version works really well, with a terrific first line suggesting many things alongside the actual sale itself.
This has combined a feeling of sadness with a touch of humour at the end – unless of course the dog is also for sale, in which case it's heart breaking. Very touching, Marion.

Thank you, so very poignant….unfortunately sometimes the pets can't go along with the owner to their new residence.
