This good haiku brings to heart and mind many possible meanings. Poetry helps so much with loss. Blessings, Ellen
Wonderfully moving.
warm regards,

This brought me right back to summers spent at my childhood home in Warrenpoint, Northern Ireland, when my siblings and I used to play on the beach all day during school holidays. Our father would call us for lunch across the shore wall on Seaview. After his death three years ago, I sometimes try to remember the exact sound of his voice. Thank you for sharing this beautiful haiku.

Thanks to all for the comments and to our fathers.
Softly stirring, sombrely resonating haiku. Thankyou.
