Very funny! :-)
I spent many years doing security work but never went to a Security Convention, only a Conflict resolution course run by a university (I was the only one not in Local Governent) and a bouncers' certificate (the only one not a bouncer aka nightclub doorman). But I have done covert or plainsclothes security (including looking after actor Larry Hagman of Dallas fame, and a couple of ex-Prime Ministers), so fun to lose yourself in a crowd when not really necessary.
Garry, I hasten to add I was NEVER in uniform for security work, it was mostly covert, or plain clothes.
I have assisted either police officers or house security teams that were in uniform, including the arrest of an evil Head of Police of a particular country known for human rights abuse.

Thanks Alan. Nice to hear from you. Yes, I can see you in uniform!
Mine was baggy and I’ll-fitting, but all they had. As was clear, I was trying to replace a larger man, and not doing much of a job of it.
