bingo night
at the nursing home
pink feather boas
—TAMI M. JOHNSON
Very visual yet conveys sound too!
I wonder if bingo night is not just about the numbers game, and atmosphere of course, but alluding to people at a residential home reliving their memories of regularly going down to a Bingo Hall at least once a week?
As someone rises and shouts "House!" waggling their card, does bingo also refer to time and gravity regarding upper arm muscles becoming 'bingo wings'?
A deceptively simple senryu but full of whatever layer of meaning a reader wishes to experience.
