In reading of your profile, your verse is held by two different hands. _m.
And thank you for sharing what appears to be a haiku tribute and reflection on your own deep personal loss. In these lines, so masterfully spare and precise, I perceive something of the nature of your relationship with your wife, and even her own character. How many hours at the card table did you spend together, smiling across at each other? Now you are playing solitaire. And I cannot help but share the anguish of your nights alone.
This is a really powerful and moving haiku, Vishnu. I look forward to reading more of your work in future.
