This reminds me of my own wedding where my wife-to-be had a number of bridesmaids looking fantastic, and vying to be the most amazing. It was an incredible sight and really added to both the ceremony itself, on the steps, as well as the two events we held afterwards.

    Wonderful poem!!!

    warm regards,

    1. Thank you Alan, I'm truly honoured to receive three exclamation points of appreciation from you! It is also wonderful to be back as part of the Tinywords community (though I am almost embarrassed to see how long since I was active here).

  2. Really enjoyed this one! I was a wedding photographer for many years and saw this scene and jostled for position myself countless times.
