Nice kigo. I see a ladder sticking through a tree somewhere and fruit upon some bough you didn’t pick.

Lovely and rich with meaning. Winter winds laden with the scent of apples. And the scent of apples lingering in the empty baskets, maybe baskets from last season's gathering.

How beautifully it flows–winds blowing in the scent of fresh crops, which will be gathered in baskets holding memories of the older harvests. Three short lines flowing seamlessly one into the other.

New and old, empty and filled.

Oh, this is so rich with layers of imagery and feeling! I love the flow of the open vowel sounds with the alliteration of consonants! Nicely done. I'll be carrying this haiku with me throughout the day.

The basket full of apples once is empty though the fragrance lingers on–scent brings them back to the point where one can take a bite. Wonderful ku.

Oh, thank you so much Sanjuktaa!! I tried to bring in winter bareness, a touch of wabi perhaps. Earth itself is like an empty basket in winter. I'm glad you liked it.
