traffic hum honey bees nesting in an old pine
—Leanne Mumford
Issue 17.1 | 1 June 2017
So many of them, honey bees spread everywhere, in all directions. However as you go close to the nest that is on an old pine you realize and understand that all honey bees have got there route to one destination and that is the nest on an old pine.
This is beautiful in so many ways. It brings the imagination to its own nest in that old pine. Bill Kenney
Good to see you.

Love the juxtaposed hums, Leanne!
I like how the 'traffic hum' could refer to either the bees or the passing cars — or perhaps both! You and I share a similar glimpse, Leanne.
