Ah, yes, Marietta. Well observed. The tube/metro/subway is a great place when you're a tourist and have time to people watch, but not so good when you're en route to work! :)

In England we now have a version of Shinkansen which I find amusing. It's a kind of full cycle.
So many faces and expressions both entering and leaving train stations, and the trains onboard and off too.
It is fascinating to see so many faces and expressions as we see a train arrive or depart!
