Love love love this, Roberta. So much story. So much emotion.
It reminds me that the dad I knew was a kind of rebel, and it was hard to witness him being defeated by a genetic issue despite being super fit otherwise.
Perhaps many of our parents have held a rebel song, and I hope they are able to keep and carry it for as long as possible.
