evening fog I follow frogsong all the way home
—Sandi Pray
Issue 19.2 | 15 January 2020
Nice…
Frogs… -Amphibian – When they are mature, inner wise, They emigrate,
We are destined for a Home…
The rhymes and alliteration of the first two lines set up the wide open last line beautifully. Well done, Sandi.
I like the imagery of this haiku. I could imagine myself there.
So beautiful! I also love the images. This morning was foggy but cold and I could imagine the spring which I long for…
Wonderful poem… ~ a howl across the lake’s ice cracklling moon
